The Ace Hotel & Swim Club is a mid-century modern landmark located near the Uptown Design District of Palm Springs.  Originally built as a Howard Johnson motel, it also served as a Westward Ho.  The hotel’s onsite diner, The Kings Highway, is a converted Denny’s.  There are two bars, the Amigo Room and poolside, the Short Bar.  The most recent remodel was in collaboration with Los Angeles based design firm, Commune.
