Hot Air Balloons are a favorite activity for visitors to Cathedral City.  Often found in desert climes like Temecula and Santa Fe, the Cathedral City Annual Hot Air Balloon Festival has been going strong for over 35 years.  Soaring high over the desert floor, riders are treated to exhilarating and exciting experiences while enjoying the multicolor artistry of the varied balloon designs.  Of course for those with a fear of flying, there are several tethered balloons for those who prefer their experiences closer to the ground.
